Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Coded Text (the "Service"), including virtual phone number rentals, SMS/OTP verification, social account listings, and social media growth ("boost") services. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide a valid email address to register; you may sign up manually or via a supported "continue with" provider (Google, Facebook, or GitHub, where enabled).

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to fraud, harassment, spam, circumventing another platform's verification or anti-abuse systems in a way that violates that platform's own terms, or any activity that violates applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts used for prohibited activity without refund.

3. Wallet Balance & Pricing

• All services are purchased using your account's wallet balance, which you fund via the payment methods available on the deposit page.
• Wallet balance is denominated in Nigerian Naira (NGN) internally. If you've chosen a different display currency, prices shown to you are a converted estimate at the current exchange rate; the amount actually charged/credited is calculated in NGN.
• Wallet balance has no cash value outside the Service, is non-transferable to other users, and is not redeemable for cash except where a refund is due under these Terms.
• Prices for phone numbers, SMS verification, accounts, and boost services may change at any time without notice; the price shown at the moment of purchase is what applies to that transaction.

4. Phone Numbers & SMS/OTP Verification

• Virtual numbers are provided for receiving SMS verification codes only. Numbers are temporary, may be reused by other customers after your rental period, and are not intended for long-term personal use unless purchased as a long-term rental where offered.
• If a code does not arrive within the rental window and no message was received, the purchase amount is automatically refunded to your wallet. If a code is received, or the provider confirms your activation was used, no refund is due.
• We do not guarantee that any specific platform (e.g. WhatsApp, Telegram, Google) will accept a given virtual number for verification, as this is controlled by the third-party platform, not us.

5. Deposits & Payment Processing

Deposits are processed through third-party payment gateways (which may include Paystack, Flutterwave, KoraPay, Ercaspay, Stripe, and/or NOWPayments for cryptocurrency, depending on what is enabled). We do not store your full card details or crypto wallet private keys; these are handled directly by the payment processor. Deposits are generally non-refundable once your wallet has been credited, except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

6. Social Accounts & Boost Services

Social media accounts and boost/growth services (followers, likes, views, and similar) are provided subject to the policies of the underlying social platforms. We do not control and cannot guarantee the behavior of third-party platforms, including their enforcement actions. Boost service delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, chargebacks, or abuse of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time; any remaining wallet balance at termination for cause may be forfeited where permitted by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coded Text is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including losses caused by third-party platforms, payment processors, or SMS/telecom providers.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
